A full social schedule is planned, including the Worlds Welcome Reception at Gurney’s Newport Marina & Resort, Prize Giving Ceremony at the International Yacht Restoration School, the 12mR Dinner Dance at Marble House, New York Yacht Club’s 175th Anniversary Gala, regatta dinners in Newport and Martha’ Vineyard, captain’s parties at the historic Ida Lewis club house, and much more.
Planning is well under way for the welcoming and prize giving parties. Direction of the 12mR Dinner Dance at Marble House has been placed in the able and experienced hands of Kate Gubelmann. The Gubelmann family has a long history with the 12mR Class and Jimmy Gubelmann is the Commodore of the 12mR Yacht Club.
